This morning ,the 11th of october, the Quang Binh Department of Tourism organized to welcome a group of high-class international yachts to Quang Binh for the first time at Hon La port.
The name of the luxury yacht is Le Laperouse of Ponant (France) bringing nearly 100 tourists from countries: USA, France, Germany, Canada, Belgium, Switzerland… The yacht departed from Indonesia, to Singapore and Vietnam.

During the 39-days in Vietnam, the ship will visit provinces and cities such as: Ho Chi Minh, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Ha Long…
The Le Laperouse will visit Quang Binh on the days: October 11th , October 15th and October 31st .
The group will visit tourist attractions destinations such as: Paradise cave, Mooc spring, Phong Nha cave, Botanical garden, Dong Hoi city, Canh Duong mural village.
Le Laperouse is a high-class cruise ship with a luxurious and compact design, enough to access seaports that large ships cannot call. The cost for a cruise on this ship is about 12,000USD/person.
Cruise tourism is a special type of tourism. it brings high revenue and requires high service capacity of travel agencies.

Quang Binh has a coastline of more than 116km and many attractive and different natural destinations. However, it has not been developed in Quang Binh yet

The arrival of ships marks an important milestone for the continued diversification and perfection of tourism products commensurate with the potential and increased competitive advantage. This is also a highlight contributing to fill the “gap” in the low tourist season.
The infrastructure of Hon La port is suitable for ships serving about 150 guests. Currently, the project of the international port of Hon La is being invested with a total investment of more than 2,100 billion VND with 4 docks to dock.
In which, first stage is expected to be completed in 2024, including: 1 berth for ships with a tonnage of 50,000dwt and 1 berth for ships with a tonnage of: 100,000 dwt. When the project is put into use, Quang Binh will be able to welcome large-scale international ships and super yachts to turn cruise ships into one of the prominent tourism products in the area.
